Suriya and Nayanthara sizzle in Aadhavan. The new pair is said share a great chemistry and are rocking on screen.

The big-budget extravaganza, directed by K S Ravikumar, is one of the hottest films in the trade and is getting ready for a big Diwali release.

The songs in Aadhavan were shot in Iceland, Cape Town (South Africa), Darjeeling and Kodaikanal. And, of course, there are no bets on whether Harris Jayaraj's songs will be super hits! IKLAN

Surya and Tamannaah in Kollywood film Ayan movie Gallery

Ayan movie, which has two cinematographers - K V Anand and M S Prabhu, also has an impressive star cast and will see Surya share screen space with Prabhu for the first time. Tamannaah, Karunas and Jagan too are part of the film.

The movie has two fight sequences and one of them is so good that it can be taken and used without any modifications in a Hollywood film.

Sun Pictures has bagged the rights for the Ayan movie. The film has been shot in various exotic locations including Tanzania and Botswana.

The audio launch of Silambarasan’s Silambattam is set to happen in Chennai. Mumbai model Sanaa Khan has been paired with Simbu in his upcoming film ‘Silambattam’.

The song Nalam Thana is not a complete remix of the old Shivaji Ganesan Number. There are only a few words used from the old hit song. The song Where is da party is said to be a foot tapping number. The movie also has a remix of the Nallavankku Nallavan song Vechikkava Unna.

Besides these, Ilayaraja has also lent his voice for one of the songs of the movie.

Silambattam is produced by Lakshmi Movie Makers. Directed by cinematographer-turned-director Saravanan, and has Yuvan Shankar Raja composing the music for the movie.

Actor Vijaykanth in Kollywood Mariyaathai Movie - Photo Shoots

Captain Vijayakanth and Vikraman are coming together for Mariyaathai after blockbuster movie Vanathai Pola. Vijaykanth has been, for the first time, paired up against Meera Jasmine for this Mariyadhai film. The grand success of Saroja, T. Siva of Amma Creations produces this Mariyathai film.

In ‘Mariyaadhai’, Vijayakanth plays dual roles of father and son with Meera Jasmine and Meena in the female lead role. For the father character Ambika is the choice. After “naaku mukka” Vijay Antony scores the music for this Mariyadhai. This time Vikraman did not chose his regular music composer S A Rajkumar.

Director Vikraman, on his part said, “Vaanatha Pola was the first Indian movie in the millennium, being released on January 13, said to be an unlucky day. But it went on to be a super hit, and went to many other languages as well.

Yet, I was disappointed with it on two accounts: I showed Vijaykanth as a very soft character. And two, the movie won many awards, but I expected a Best Actor Award for Vijaykanth, which never happened. I’m sure I’ll straighten things out this time around.” Meera Jasmine, Meena and Ambika play the heroines of the film.
