Mallika Sherawat - The queen of ‘Nakhras’

When Studio 18 signed Mallika Sherawat as the female lead of their film ‘Masquerade’, little did they know that they are playing with fire (red-hot one) and now, madam Mallika has annoyed director Kundan Shah with her ‘Nakhras’ to such an extent that the makers are left with no other option than to shelve the project.

Reports are that Mallika was signed for Rs. 9.5 million and was even paid 25% of her fee as the signing amount before she reported for the movie’s shoot. However, Miss Sherawat started throwing tantrums even before shooting could begin saying that she was not happy with the choice of the director and the cinematographer. When director Kundan Shah refused to give in to her interference, Mallika coolly went to the press and declared the she had walked out of the film.

The standoff between the two reached such a peak that eventually Studio 18 found no alternative but to call off the project. Now the production house has lodged a complaint with IMPPA asking Mallika to return the signing amount paid to her.

On the other hand, Mallika refuses to entertain any calls from Studio 18 and refuses to talk to the media on the issue.

Glamorous actress of the Kollywood Industry Malavika has joined the Mom’s Club

The latest and the hottest news of the evening is that the glamorous actress of the Kollywood Industry Malavika has joined the Mom’s Club. yes you guessed it right. She is pregnant. The actress married Bangalore-based Sumesh in March 2007.

This might be one the biggest shocks in the K-Town for Malavika is one of the most wanted item girls for most of the films these days. She has alredy created a great name for herself, with the item number for the song Valameenukum.. Song. Then she has been receieving a lot of offers to do the item song.

The latest item song of Malavika is the Attama Therottama, for the film Singakutty. This has already become amega hit item number throughout the South India. She had recently signed an item number for the movie, Indira Vizha.

But she has made a request to the director K. Rajsekar to postpone the shoot for three months, for she has been advised to avoid dance and take rest for three months. And Rajsekar has duly accepted and is going to wait for Malavika.

Malavika had married a Bangalore based businessman, Sumesh last year.Malavika’s pregnancy has taken everyone by surprise as she is the leading item dancer in kollywood.Malavika’s “Vaala Meenukum” song was last year’s chartbuster while her recent item number “Aatama Thaerottama” in “Singakutty” is already a hit.

Raghuvaran was supposed to act in “Indira Vizha” and the kollywood movie had been experiencing difficulties with his untimely death. Raghuvaran has already been replaced by Nasser.Now Malavika’s pullout will be another setback to this movie.

Though Malavika had confirmed that she would continue to act in th, movie,director Rajeshwar has already contacted Swarnamalya for the same role. Now it is confirmed that Swarnamalya would do the role in “Indira Vizha” instead of Malavika.

Malaika and Amrita Arora - Double Mazaa

The two Arora sisters have set the screen afire a number of times with their item numbers. Malaika Arora has an array of sizzling item numbers to her credit ranging from ‘Chaiya Chaiya’ in ‘Dil Se’ and others in films like Bichoo, Indian, Maa Tujhe Salaam, Kaante, Kaal, Heyy Babyy to Welcome. Sister Amrita Arora too hasn’t been far behind and has done the item act in the seductive ‘Dilli Ki Sardi’ track.

And now, for the first time, Malaika Arora and young sister Amrita Arora will come together on the big screen for a song in director Sanjay Gadhavi’s action thriller ‘Kidnap’. Moreover, the song, composed by Pritam, will have the two sisters pitted against each other, dancing to outshine each other. The song will be choreographed by Remo and from what we hear it is a very Chicago type song! Sanjay Dutt too will be part of the song. The shooting will start in Filmistan from March 9 and will continue till March 13.

The spokesperson from the production house, Shree Ashtavinayak CineVision Ltd confirms the development saying, “Yes, Ashtavinayak has signed on Malaika and Amrita Arora for an item number for Kidnap. After canning a song for Golmaal Returns on a very large scale we are really looking forward to shooting this song as well. This is the final shooting schedule for the film and after this song the film will be complete”

Malaika describes the song as “hot, sexy and energetic.” Well, they say it takes two to tango!
