Himesh Reshammiya refused to smile for pictures

Himesh Reshammiya seems to be taking pleasure in being portrayed as a serious person.

Recently, at an event, he refused to smile for pictures and when a photographer caught him smiling and chatting with one of his celebrity friends and clicked the picture, Himesh asked him to re-shoot it. Talk about strange quirks.

In Radio, Himesh’s character is that of a smiling and bubbly RJ , however, he doesn’t seem to want to be caught smiling in public. According to sources, throughout the time when the photographers clicked pictures, Himesh had a very serious look on his face.

The guys kept asking him to smile and even pleaded but all in vain. Later when he was smiling while talking to a friend, a photographer caught him on camera. However, Himesh asked him to take the picture again, this time with Himesh looking serious.

Himesh denied the news and claimed that when his character in Radio is that of a happy, smiling guy, why would he want to behave this way?

Himesh Reshammiya’s third film all set to be a Diwali release

Himesh Reshammiya’s third film as an actor Kajraare, a T-Series’ production is all set to be a Diwali release. Directed by actress Pooja Bhatt the film stars opposite Himesh, Pakistani actress Mona Laizza apart from Amrita Singh and Gulshan Grover. The release date for the film is scheduled as October 16th. But on the same day two more biggies are slated for release, thats Hrithik Roshan - Barbara Mori - Kangana Ranaut starrer Kites and Ajay Devgan’s home production All The Best staring Sanjay Dutt, Fardeen Khan, Bipasha Basu, Mugdha Godse along with Ajay himself.

Kajraare is supposedly, a modernised remake of Mahesh Bhatt’s Pooja Bhatt-Sanjay Dutt starrer Sadak. But this move to release it on Diwali day seems no less than a hara-kiri claims trade pundits. Himesh began his acting career with a bang with a musical hit like Aap Ka Surroor but his next release, the Karz remake titled Karzzzz was a big turkey at the ticket window. His Kajraare was to release much earlier but reportedly, the on going recession took toll on it and the schedules kept getting pushed ahead. Now as its nearing completion, the makers are planning for a Diwali release. But with big mega budget oppositions like Kites and All The Best, we just hope the makers give the release date a rethink or else Himesh might have to work harder to prove himself yet again as an actor.

Himesh Reshammiya completely given up eating sweets

Himesh Reshammiya , who is quite positive about proving a point all over again with his upcoming films as an actor, had completely given up eating sweets for last few months. Though he carries a sweet tooth, during the shoot of his under production film ‘Ishk Unplugged’ he made a strong resolve that he wouldn’t touch any of them till the shoot got over.

Well, true to his promise, he stayed miles away from sweets during a non-stop 65 days schedule of the film, only to gobble up a dozen odd pieces of ‘Kaju Katri’, his favourite sweet, on the last day of the film’s shoot.

Reveals a source who saw it all happening on the film’s sets, “Everyone knows that Himesh loves sweets. In fact it was quite a challenge for him to stay away from sweets for all these weeks but he ensured that he didn’t break his healthy regime. Well done, Himesh.

Joker of the Year: Himesh Reshammiya

The hit music director is hell bent on becoming the next Amitabh Bachchan of India. In Satish Kaushik’s ’Karzzzz’, he tried to give rebirth to Rishi Kapoor’s Monty (Subhash Ghai’s original of 1978) and ended up ’with blood in his hands’. The Dennis-The-Menace hair weave did not stand in between Himesh and the promise of ultimate hilarity!

As is his habit, Himesh mistook facial contortions for Method Acting, and nasal acrobatics for singing! The result: The junta went into laugh riots every time he crooned "Nazron mein teri kashish ka aalam...Dil mein hai armanon ki sargam!!"


However, his musical outing in Kollywood, ’Dasavatharam’, was a super hit.

The Thinking Khan Launched his nephew in his home production, ’Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na’. He broke B.O records with ’Ghajini’, which reportedly collected Rs. 110 crores in the first week of its release. He answered SRK’s six-pack abs with an eight-pack.

His directorial debut ’Taare Zameen Par’ was chosen to be India’s official entry to the Oscars. He revealed that he called his dog "SRK" and got a few brickbats coming his way. The only tragedy that Aamir Khanfaced in 2008 was "the attack of ants".

He wrote on his October 16 blog: “Few days ago I had a very bad night. After a long day at work, went to bed at around 3am. Couple hours later, deep in sleep I had this vague feeling of being bitten on my ear. Gradually I was being bitten on my stomach, legs, neck. I was so sleepy that I just kept cursing, scratching, turning and tossing. Finally it got really unbearable, and I kind of woke up…… TO SEE MY BED FILLED WITH ANTS! There were hundreds of them! Crawling all over and giving me hell."

Internal problem between the workers On Himesh Reshammiya movie

Early this week, it was a clear commotion on the sets of Himesh Reshammiya’s Mudh Mudh Ke Na Dekkh Mudh Mudh Ke aka M2KNDM2K.

Some of the workers apparently stopped work for an entire day and launched a protest, Reason?

They claimed that they were unpaid for their work and after waiting patiently for last few days, they eventually gave up and put the shooting to standstill. Incidentally, it was supposed to be the last day of the shooting for the film’s current schedule.

Says a cast member who was present on the sets when the issue snowballed, "There was clear resentment amongst the workers as they were constantly demanding money to be paid to them for their work over all these days.

They had approached people at the levels reachable to them but to no avail. Eventually, they couldn’t take it anymore and called it quits. They declared loud and clear that the work would resume only if they were paid for the days they had spent on the sets."

But wasn’t it unethical to come up with such measures? "Was it ethical on the part of the makers to keep their own crew members unpaid? Don’t these workers have to run their families? All said and done, it never seemed to be the case of shortage of money. These workers were just being shortchanged all this while", protests the source in favor of workers.

Himesh Reshammiya who plays the lead in the film was not present on the sets that day. However, Niharika Singh (leading lady of the film), Farida Jalal and Shakeel Khan (who plays a blind man in the film) amongst others saw all the action right in front of them.

On being contacted, a crew member (on the condition of anonymity) confirmed the news, "Yes, something to the tune of this did indeed happen though everything has been sorted out now. In fact on the same evening the workers were paid their money."

Replying to the query around what had actually transpired; she divulged after an initial hesitation, "It was an Internal problem between the workers. The payment was given to an agent who didn’t further pay workers on time.

This is why once the schedule got over as per the plans on 15th September; they created a scene a day later. The incident happened on 16th and hence didn’t impact the schedule at all.

Thankfully, there is no issue anymore and we all are looking forward to coming back for the next schedule.

Top music Celebes from the Bollywood was present at the ceremony

IKLAN Under the contract with Universal Music Aneek Dhar Saregamapa 2007 music contest winner got his first music “Khwaishein” released. Himesh Reshammiya released the music album in a function held at Famous Studio in Mumbai. All the Top music Celebes from the Bollywood was present at the ceremony. Since winning the award, Aneek sang playback in two Bengali movies and presently working with Vishal and Shekhar in movie Kabootar.
